User Research International (founded in 2006) is a full-service Research firm specializing in conducting customer research to support the development of high-profile products, applications, and websites for enterprise companies. URI provides a range of services to support our clients, including participant recruiting, qualitative and quantitative research, and facilities worldwide.
URI specializes in a broad range of product spaces and audiences, from IaaS cloud platforms, machine learning and AI tools, data analytics platforms, and integrated development environments, to online travel portals, virtual reality and augmented reality devices, game consoles and medical devices.
URI has worked with Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Expedia, Facebook and many large enterprises that are recognized leaders in their fields. URI has planned, coordinated, and conducted usability studies, scorecards, interviews, surveys, focus groups and other primary research to support a range of products for these clients across the full lifecycle of product development. URI continues to provide ongoing services to these clients to support the next generation of their products.
URI has completed over 1000 individual research projects in the technology space in the past 16 years.
Research is conducted at User Research International’s offices in Redmond, WA, which hosts state of the art research facilities including our Contactless Lab Pods, usability labs as well as a focus group studio for larger studies. All participant recruiting is done by the in-house URI recruiting team which recruits 1000s of participants for in-person and online studies per month for both URI research as well as for our clients.

Lab Facilities
URI has full-service usability labs located in Redmond, WA, allowing local team members to observe sessions in person. Sessions can also be streamed. Facilities include 4 full usability labs, 6 remote usability labs, and 2 Focus Group labs.
